next comic + contest?
so! part one of OXYGEN is almost over! I will be taking a short break to work on another comic (the pages for which will be uploaded here) and I wanted your help picking it! here are the two options.
monochromatic angel: one of my pet projects. this will actually be a prequel to the real story which I hope to work on later. it's set in a futuristic society but that doesn't play much importance until after the prequel. Mercy, the main character, meets a strange boy who is hanging around his apartment. this is about their multiple encounters. there are some elements of fantasy involved
never roses: slice of life romantic maybe-comedy about a boy who hits on all his best friend's girlfriends and then shamelessly dumps them when they switch to him. doesn't have much of a plot and was made up after a dream I had a while back.
now, onto part two of this update! a contest! draw me something surrounding the theme "winter"! it has to include characters from one of my comics, whether it's OXYGEN or one of these two. "winter" is very open to interpretation. it doesn't have to be couple art, but that would get bonus points.
1st prize: full body CG
2nd prize: full body sketch
3rd prize: half body sketch
deadline: February 13, 2010 (so everyone will have plenty of time! <3 )
